  • Book Study update
    •  Dave looking into budget to see if he can buy the books
  • Kare & Jane Update
    •  Please send updates to Jane & Karen on progress of C4T's and or workshop participants so that they can keep up to date with field progress in anticipation of the day 2 meetings.   Please arrive for workshops no later than 7:40.  There is much to be done, and coach presence is critical. 
    • Be aware that tech planning this year will be different.  Do not broadcast the info, but be prepared to squelch rumors.  There is no solid information at all yet.
    • Smartboard update:  Karen will send us the new list of participants.  Purchase orders are starting now for round 2.  Schools participating in the round 2 need to consider ordering more ceiling mounts for a lower price, if they might need them in the future.  Round 3 info might come this spring or next fall.  After which we will skip a round. 
    Smartboard discussion
    • Making Senteo work
    • getting information about ways to work the boards to those who are not grant recipients. 
    • Keli will ask Dave about getting licenses to Smartideas for us.
    • Carrie is going to teach a Smartideas CIS class on 1/26/09.
  • Share our successes or hopes for the new year....

  • Rumor Mill about computer replacement...this was from December Agenda, do we need to discuss still? 
    •  Unknown.  We're going to have to be OK with change, and uncertainty. 
  • Rethinking Technology Discussion
    •  Commit to review the document and be prepared to discuss it with the team for our next meeting.

  • NETS Simple Assessment update (Joel) http://ccsdtechassessment.howtomaster.com
    • They have updated to the new NETS standards.  We can take the assessment using our usernames and the password we use for workshop wikis.  The consensus seems to be that it is not especially valuable for our work.
