Announcements, Agenda, & Calendar Review

Chapter 3 (facilitated by Cindy Loehr) 45 minutes :)

1/2 of our group did not read the chapter.  Cindy is disappointed.  

She is going to use the protocol called Windows Notes from The Strategic Teacher

We should have kids make notes, not take notes!  

?  Should we have conversations about how the staffs see us?  

How should we frame this question?  

ConnectTech:  Review of pages and plan for the future.  (30 mins)

SMARTBoard Stuff (Karen...20 minutes)

     Email will go out today or tomorrow

     100 teachers will be moved on

     We are asking for less money from the Morgridges

     Ben is purchasing and installing the projectors

     Grants committee will meet in August

     We would like to tell the teachers about this during the 2nd week in August

     Discussion of what kind of feedback the teachers who are not being moved on will receive.

     Teachers may need more work on how to take notes on what I see and what I hear

     How do we take notes in a focused manner?

     How do we help the observers use the information from the lesson to impact their classrooms?

     We can teach 60 CIS classes this year

     21st Century Certificate Program will go out this week too
