Here are a few discussion starters...

Should we do this again? If so, what suggestions about restructuring the format? Anyone missing?

     If we did it again, we would lke to be at other tables so we could experience more of our schools

    Format needs to be reworked, structures need to be in place to change and focus the discussion

    Perhaps structure it aorund the NETS

    Ask how the SAS saw our role (the coaches) at the meeting

    Need to be more structured and task oriented

    Do this again perhaps in the sping

What was it like at your table?

    Responses varied, some were positive some not so it was a 50/ 50

    There were some people who were very negative at the tables which was discouraging

Any dynamics we should be aware of?

    How do we change the negativity of some?

    There was some belittling of other levels

Any realizations about ways to improve what we do?

    Have more alignment between levels

 

What misconceptions did you notice?

 

    Some people aren't doing staff development

Has the meeting led to any actual visitations or new connections to people that you work with?

    Some connections via e mail

    Going to set up a meeting

Ah has.....

    The disparity and incontinuity between schools was huge and across all levels

    We're more alike then different

    Staff development is a challenge for all and moreso because some schools reperesented didn't appear to do staff development

    People were all over the place....

    Appreciated the opporunity to be there

 

8:45-9:00 Office "Ours" discussion 

    No meeting on Friday

    Purpose:  to create proximity in order to provide an opportuity to collaborate, communicate and support

                   and to share instructional resources

• Perhaps more structure- i.e. resource sharing, see what people are creating and doing

  Get a .Mac account or First Class for the coaches so we can share and collaborate around the good things we are doing

  Somehow we need a place to share both face to face and electronically

  Need to model sharing amoung coaches for the poeple we work with

  People in our group have different needs and models for sharing which is honored

  Need to let people know by that AM if you aren't going to attend

   Blog Policy Discussion

  The question was raised as to are we communicating with other districts which are further along on blog policies, are we learning and collaborating from others

  How are we to respond to teachers who want to use other blog services or WEB 2.0 products - need to discuss this with coordinators and Dave
